    bSafe collects only what it needs: your email address if you choose to share it, and anonymous analytics via Google Analytics to count visits and measure interest. We do not sell data or build personal profiles. Ever.
  

Who we are

bSafe is a travel safety application for visitors to the Republic of Cyprus. We are in pre-launch phase and operate this website at bsafe.cy to measure interest before launch.

What we collect

We collect the following data, and only when you voluntarily submit it via our interest form:

Email address — optional. Used solely to notify you when bSafe launches.
Comment / message — optional free-text field. Used only to read your feedback.
Language preference — inferred from your browser or language selection. Used to communicate with you in your preferred language.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name.
We do not collect your location.
We do not use cookies for advertising or user profiling.
We do not sell, share, or rent your data to anyone.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to count page visits and track when visitors click our main call-to-action button. Google Analytics may collect your IP address (anonymised by Google), browser type, device type, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and not linked to any personal identity. You can opt out at any time via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

How we use your data

If you provide your email address, we will use it exclusively to:

Notify you when bSafe becomes available for download.
Occasionally send relevant pre-launch updates, if you have expressed interest.

We will not send marketing emails from third parties, and you can request removal at any time.

Data storage

Submitted data is stored securely in Supabase (supabase.com), a GDPR-compliant infrastructure provider based in the European Union. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to the bSafe team only.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Withdraw consent at any time.

Interest counter

We use a third-party click counter (counterapi.dev) to display the number of visitors who have expressed interest. This counter records only an anonymous count — no personal data is transmitted to that service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service develops. Any significant changes will be communicated to registered email addresses. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
